Attention Between the Brows

Fix gentle attention at the brow-centre; let thought thin into light.

▶ Practice this technique10 / 20 min · eyes closed

How to practice

  1. 1Rest attention lightly at the point between the eyebrows — no straining of the eyes.
  2. 2As attention gathers there, let the texture of thought grow thin.
  3. 3Hold awareness on the subtle field of light or space that opens.
  4. 4If pressure builds, soften; this is attention, not effort.
Practice note. Effortful staring creates headache, not absorption. Keep the face and eyes completely relaxed.
