With the senses dissolved in the space of the heart, settle one-pointed in the centre of its lotus.
▶ Practice this technique10 / 20 min · eyes closed
How to practice
- 1Close the eyes and let the outgoing senses settle back, dissolving into the open space felt within the heart.
- 2Imagine that heart-space as the hollow between the cupped petals of a lotus.
- 3Place attention in the very middle of that lotus-space, one-pointed (ananya-cetas).
- 4Let no other object pull you; rest there, in the heart that bestows the highest good.
Practice note. Senses "dissolved" means simply withdrawn and relaxed inward — not strained shut. The heart here is the felt centre of the chest, not the muscle.
