How to practice
- 1Bring to mind the entire universe extending in all directions.
- 2Travel attention to its outermost edges, all around — the very limits of everything that is.
- 3Contemplate the Shaiva reality (Shiva-consciousness) pervading even those farthest peripheries, leaving nothing outside it.
- 4As that all-encompassing recognition fills you, let the great arising (mahodaya) dawn. Rest in it.
Practice note. A vast outward contemplation: extend awareness to the absolute edges of all, and find Shiva already there. The expansiveness itself triggers the opening.
