The Open Sky

Gaze into clear empty space until the space enters you and the boundary thins.

▶ Practice this technique5 / 10 / 15 min · eyes open

How to practice

  1. 1Find a clear, empty view — a blank sky, a wide wall, a dim room.
  2. 2Let the gaze rest softly, not fixing on any object.
  3. 3Allow the sense of inner space and outer space to become one open field.
  4. 4Stay with the spaciousness; let thoughts pass through it like distant birds.
