How to practice
- 1Look at the world around you — objects, events, people.
- 2Contemplate it as a magic show (indrajāla): vivid but insubstantial, like a conjuror's display, a painting, or a passing whirl.
- 3Hold everything you see in this light — appearing, but not solid or binding.
- 4As the weight of "real and fixed" lifts, a quiet joy wells up. Rest in that delight.
Practice note. This is not denial of the world but a lightening of it. Seeing the show as a show loosens its grip, and relief becomes joy.
