Attentive to the Knowing Itself
ग्राह्यग्राहकसंवित्तिः सामान्या सर्वदेहिनाम्। योगिनां तु विशेषोऽस्ति सम्बन्धे सावधानता॥
grāhyagrāhakasaṃvittiḥ sāmānyā sarvadehinām | yogināṃ tu viśeṣo'sti sambandhe sāvadhānatā

विषय (ग्राह्य) और ग्रहण करने वाले (ग्राहक) का जो बोध है, वह तो सब प्राणियों में समान रूप से होता है। योगी की केवल एक विशेषता है — वह इस ज्ञेय-ज्ञाता के सम्बन्ध (अर्थात् जानने की क्रिया) के प्रति सदा सावधान, सजग रहता है। उसी सावधानी में टिको।
