SEO Audit Pro
A complete on-page, technical, content, link, image, structured-data and security audit that runs entirely in your browser. Every finding shows what was measured, why it matters and how to fix it — deterministic, explainable, exportable.
How this audit works (and what it honestly can't see)
Every check in this tool is written from the published specification it audits: title and description budgets are canvas-measured in pixels (Arial 18px/13px, the SERP fonts) rather than guessed from character counts; robots directives follow RFC 9309; security headers are graded against the OWASP secure-headers baseline; readability comes from the original seven formulas computed on a real tokenizer with a syllable counter and exception dictionary. There is no AI anywhere in the pipeline — the same input produces the same score, every time, and every finding shows the measurement that produced it.
The audit is honest about browser physics. In paste mode nothing leaves your machine, but response headers, redirect chains and TTFB are physically invisible to page-side JavaScript — so those checks report “not applicable” instead of faking a value, and the overall score is re-weighted over what actually ran. Switch to live-URL mode (our own first-party relay — never a third-party proxy) or paste headers from curl -I to unlock them.
Scores follow a fixed, published weighting: each rule carries a weight of 1–5 inside its category, and categories combine at On-Page 22%, Technical 18%, Content 14%, Crawlability 10%, Performance 10%, Security 8%, Images/Links/Structured Data 6% each. A rule that passes earns full weight, a warning earns half, a failure earns none. That means the grade is explainable: expand any finding to see exactly what was measured and what passing requires.
Pair the audit with the companion instruments: rewrite your snippet in the SERP preview, fix markup with the Meta Tags Studio, and validate your JSON-LD in the Schema Studio.
Trusted for Real Audits
“The pixel-measured title check alone replaced a paid tool for me. But the real win is the partial-audit honesty — it tells me exactly which checks need headers instead of quietly guessing. The Markdown export goes straight into client tickets.”
“We run every page through this before delivery. Deterministic scores mean I can diff two audits and know the delta is real, not model noise. The fix-first cards are what juniors actually work from. Paste mode on sensitive client staging sites is the killer feature.”
“Finally an audit that explains itself — expand a finding and there's the measurement, the threshold and the one-line fix. Caught a rel=nofollow leak on internal links and a lazy-loaded hero image that two other tools missed.”
“Ran it against my landing pages and fixed eleven real issues in an afternoon. Would love scheduled re-audits someday, but for a free in-browser tool the depth is absurd — headers grading, schema profiles, n-gram stuffing checks, all explained.”
