How to practice
- 1Notice where, right now, the mind feels naturally content or satisfied — a sight, a sound, a memory, a quiet ease.
- 2Rather than moving on, let the mind stay there, in that satisfaction.
- 3Sink into the contentment itself, not its object.
- 4Let it deepen; in that very place, the nature of supreme bliss (parānanda) reveals itself.
Practice note. A wonderfully gentle technique: it works with the mind's likes instead of against them. Follow contentment inward to its source.
