महाशून्यालये वह्नौ भूताक्षविषयादिकम्। हूयते मनसा सार्धं स होमश्चेतनास्रुचा॥
mahāśūnyālaye vahnau bhūtākṣaviṣayādikam | hūyate manasā sārdhaṃ sa homaś cetanāsrucā

महाशून्य के आलय रूपी अग्नि में, भूत-इन्द्रिय-विषय आदि को मन सहित, चेतना रूपी स्रुवा (चम्मच) से हवन किया जाता है — वही (सच्चा) होम है।

Into the fire that is the abode of the great Void, the elements, senses and their objects — together with the mind — are offered with the ladle of consciousness: that is the oblation.
