The Peace at the End of the Breath
कुम्भिता रेचिता वापि पूरिता वा यदा भवेत्। तदन्ते शान्तनामासौ शक्त्या शान्तः प्रकाशते॥
kumbhitā recitā vāpi pūritā vā yadā bhavet | tadante śāntanāmāsau śaktyā śāntaḥ prakāśate

जब साँस पूरी तरह रोकी जाए, या पूरी तरह बाहर निकाली जाए, या भीतर भर ली जाए — उसके ठीक अन्त में एक मौन, शान्त अवस्था अपने आप उतरती है। उसी "शान्त" नामक अवस्था में, बिना अगली क्रिया की ओर भागे, ठहर जाओ; उसी में भैरव-स्वरूप प्रकाशित होता है।
